Overhauling of AC Plant Systems and Domestic Refrigeration Systems on DCI DR XI

AC PLANT SYSTEM: (Type: 5H 40-149): Following repairs to be carried out on Air conditioning system. Entire Gas to collect from each system by using recovery units in empty cylinders. Contractor is to arrange recovery units and dry ice with competent operators. After completion of repairs each system to be flushed,pressure tested with nitrogen and check for leaks. After satisfactory pressure testing, system to keep under vacuum for 24 hours. Supply of Nitrogen is covered in Contractor's Scope.While pressure/vacuum testing of AC system, leaks to be rectified.after repairs system to be charged with recovered gas. After the repairs, Satisfactory operation to be showned to ship staff and HSL. Rquired spares procure,supply and fitment in contractor scope. All consumables,compressor oil,fasteners,measuring tools,nitrogen gas,connectors,End pipe connections removal and fitment, gaskets, condenser end covers build up works, zinc anodes, drain cocks, copper plugs, machining works,brazing/welding works are in contractor scope.

AC compressor( Middle and outboard) to be removed from position,shifted to workshop, dismantled one by one and overhauled. Necessary required parts to renew. On completion of overhaul both compressor to be tried out.Alignment to be carried out,satisfactory operation to be showned to shipstaff.

AC evaporators to be removed from position,shifted to workshop, chemically cleaned internally and externally overhaul and pressure tested for no leak. Pressure test to be shown to SS.out board compressor evaporator coil suspected to be leaking. Same to be checked and rectified and boxed back.

Condensers to be removed from position,shifted to workshop, chemically cleaned,overhauled and pressure tested.and shown to ship staff.

Consumables / Components / Items / Spares / Material: For executing of the above mentioned jobs, Contractor has to procure, supply all items and fitted in its place. Contractor has to quote lumpsum cost for required Consumables / Components / Items / Spares / Material mentioned at S.Nos. 1 to 1.3 for above scope of work. The taxes will be paid as per actuals. The cost of spares quoted by the contractor will be considered " on not exceeding basis of total lumpsum cost mentioned in the BOQ for this line item'' for satisfactory completion of the specified SoW. Payment will be made at actuals on not exceeding quoted cost of this Serial (1.4) against third party/OEM invoice.

All safety cut outs and alarm to be checked,calibrated,tested,defects rectified and satisfactory trials of the plant to be shown to Ship staff.

Consumables / Components / Items / Spares / Material for Electrical/Instrumentation works above (sl.no. 2): If found BER for executing of the above mentioned jobs, Contractor has to procure, supply all items and fitted in its place material like safety cutouts,alarms,pressure gauges are procure,fitment in contractor scope. Contractor has to quote lumpsum cost for required Consumables / Components / Items / Spares / Material mentioned at S.No. 2 for above scope of work. The taxes will be paid as per actuals. The cost of spares quoted by the contractor will be considered " on not exceeding basis of total lumpsum cost mentioned in the BOQ for this line item'' for satisfactory completion of the specified SoW. Payment will be made at actuals on not exceeding quoted cost of this Serial (2.1) against third party/OEM invoice.

Entire Gas to collect from each system by using recovery units in empty cylinders. Contractor is to arrange recovery units and dry ice with competent operators. After completion of repairs each system to be flushed,pressure tested with nitrogen and check for leaks. After satisfactory pressure testing, system to keep under vacuum for 24 hours. The cost of spares quoted by the contractor will be considered " on not exceeding basis of total lumpsum cost mentioned in the BOQ for this line item'' for satisfactory completion of the specified SoW. Payment will be made at actuals on not exceeding quoted cost of this Serial (3.4) against third party/OEM invoice.
