REPAIR TO CLEANING OF MONSOON DRAIN, SAUCER DRAIN, DRAIN COVER SLABS AND CONNECTED ITEMS OF AIR FIELD AT AF STN BHUJ

Demolition of cement concrete(unreinforced)/rigid pavement/Hardstanding of any description and in any position by using mechanical method including cutting by machine of existing edge of any thickness complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Removing demolished materials (other than soil) to a distance exceeding 1.5 Km but not exceeding 5 Km and depositing outside MD Land inlcuding loading ,unloading and stacking at the destination complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Material & labour for providing 100 mm thick Cement concrete type D-2, 1:4:8 using 40 mm graded stone aggregates in subbase/ floor complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Material & labour for 100mm thick cement concrete type B1, 1:2:4, using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in hard standing/ pavings in alternate bays including use of necessary formwork and finishing concrete topping even and fair without using extra cement and spike rolling to surface or making impressions of expanded metal , whilst the concrete is green complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material & labour for forming contraction (dummy) joints 65mm deep x 10mm wide, filled with sealing compound of Grade 'B' complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Material & labour for forming construction joint 30mm deep x 10mm wide filled with sealing compound, Grade 'B' complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Demolition of cement concrete (reinforced) n .exe 15 cm thick and removing demolished materials outside MD Land complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material & labour for providing precast reinforced cement concrete of type B1 (1:2:4) (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) as in cover slabs complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Supply & fix TMT bars 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.90mm dia complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Dismantling mild steel of any description not otherwise provided for complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Supply & fix framed work such as grills, gratings etc, framed guard bars, railings and similar work conforming to Fe 290. Gde-E-165 complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Material & labour for preparation of new steel surfaces of any description over 10CM in width and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge..

Demolition of precast concrete block walling of any description built in cement mortar complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material & labour for precast cement concrete block masonary with solid blocks exc 10cm in width Type C1 (1:3:6) (using 20mm graded stone aggregates) and setting in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material & labour for 15 mm thick rendering for fair faces of concrete surfaces on brick work or concrete surfaces in CM 1:4 is to be finished even fair complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Material & labour for cutting grass manually and removing materials obtained from cutting/cleaning both sides of runway, PTT near DTGM board, Links, cleaning of taxi track and other airfield area as per user requirement etc. complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge. Note:- Contractor will arrange his own minimum 04 Nos. of labour form 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM (including lunch break of half an hour at mid day) every day and as well as reuquired. However department will have the right to stop the work at any time due to security point of view.

Material & labour for ploughing of soft ground arrester in the pattern prescribed by the Engineer in Charge using including deploying of tractor with jungle jim/plougher and a driver and cutting of grass around runway and taxi track and removing cutting/cleannng grass and other materials from both sides of runway, PTT near DTGM board, links, cleaning of taxi track and other airfield area as per user requirement etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Note :- Payment shall be made for each hour or part thereof of execution of work by the tractor on site. Necessary log book duly signed by the users, Engineer in charge and contractor shall be maintained and kept on records of the Engineer in charge and shall be produced when desired by the GE. Stationary for the same shall be supplied by the contractor)

Providing & operating bush cutter (with operator) with bush cutter blade for grass shrubs/vegetation scrapping/cutting on requirment basis around airfield lights, sign boards along with drain including deploying of one labour for removing the rubbish from outside MoD land complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Material & labour for cleanining/disilting of existing monsoon drain (closed or open) on either side of runway/taxi track links and shoulder of any cross section and any depth by desilting silt, grit, mud, debris, sludge deposits etc with manaully or mechanically pumping for smooth free flow of drainage water and removing the materials/debris/spoil to a distance exceeding 1.5 Km and not exceeding 5 Km and depositing in low laying areas outside the MD complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge. (i) The actual depth of silt/sludge/mud deposited in the drain only be considered for measurement and payment purpose. (ii) Cost of removal of existing cover slab of drain and placing on same location after cleaning/removal of mud/silt and vegetation is deemed to be inclusive in the quoted rate. (iii) Cleaning of drain shall be as per user requitement as per necessity and direction by engineer-in-charge
