Back side of the cover will be painted in black and date of the testing and earth resistance value shall be written."

The box shall be made using MS sheet of 20 gauge or better with IP31 protection and power coating. A door knob shall be provided to open the front door to access the fuse. Provision shall be made to view the working condition of class C arrestors from front side of the cabinet. All the 24 internal power wiring shall be made using 10Sq.mm PVC cable on suitable termination. The PF contacts of class C arrestor shall be wired using 2.5Sq.mm cable. The earthing point on the arrestor shall be connected to the maintenance free earth bus bar using insulated cadmium bronze cable of size 3/16". The connecting cable used to extend main power to surge arrestors shall be PVC insulated cable of multi-strand copper cable of 10Sq.mm size. All the materials required for the above work except surge arrestors and cadmium cable(Covered in supply portion) are to be arranged by contractor.
