Labour only for cleaning the vegetation/surplus soil around the earth pits upto 1.00 mtr all around the pit, cleaning the chamber of the earth pit, replacing the rusted earthing leads/funnel / mesh with and including new ones of existing size & specification etc, and checking the results of the earthing using earth tester, re-activating the earth pit using suitable measures as required to bring the results within the limits, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. NOTE :(i) All materials required for re-activation of earthing pit will be measured and paid separately under supplied only of respective item of schedule. (ii) The resistance test of earth pits to be carried out in dry season only.

Supply only common salt for earth pit complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply only magnesium sulphate for earth pit complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply only Charcoal for earth pit complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & fix air termination single pointed solid copper rod 12mm dia, 300mm long mounted on GI pipe 40mm bore light grade embedded in PCC 1:2:4 type B1of size 100x100x100 mm, mounting insulator, bolts and nuts complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Note :G I Pipe shall be measured and paid separately.)

Supply and fixing in replacement of GI tubing light grade for mechanical protection of earth strip laid under plinths,floors, roads, paths, culverts etc. or fixed on walls or along poles or emmbeded in PCC for giving support to air termination rod by means of MS clamps with necessary bolts, nuts and washers etc complete all as specified of size 40mm bore complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & fixing in replacement of GI tubing medium grade completed with all fittings for watering to earth strip laid under trench size of 15 mm bore complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & fix in replacement of test point terminal block made of gun metal / phosphorus bronze/copper of size 75x75x25mm drilled and screwed including 3 Nos 8mm dia 25mm long hexagonal head screw complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & fix in replacement of copper strip 32 x 6 mm with saddles and fixing screws etc for roof/down conductor above ground including jointing with brazing etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & fix copper strip 20 x 3.00 mm with saddles and fixing screws etc for roof/down conductor above ground including jointing with brazing etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & fix in replacement galvanised iron strip 32 x 6 mm with saddles and fixing screws etc for roof/down conductor above ground including jointing with rivets, bolts, nuts & washers etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & fix in replacement aluminium strip 25 x 3.15 mm with saddles and fixing screws etc for roof/down conductor above ground including joining with rivets, bolts, nuts, washers etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Excavation in trenches not exc. 1.5m wide and not exc. 1.5m in length for foundation etc or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes pier holes etc not exc. 10sqm on plan and not exc 1.5m in depth and getting out in Soft/ loose soil soil complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Excavation in trenches not exc. 1.5m wide and not exc. 1.5m in length for foundation etc or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes pier holes etc not exc. 10sqm on plan and exc 1.5m but n. exc. 3.0 m in depth and getting out in Soft/ loose soil soil complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Removing excavated soil to a distance n.exc. 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level n.exc. 1.5m above the starting points complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Returning filling in soil and including spreading leveling watering and well ramming in layers n.exc. 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material & labour for copper earth plate electrode 90cmx60cmx5mm thick buried in ground and brazed with copper strip completely etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :Earthwork in excavation shall be measured and paid separately.

Material & labour for copper earth plate electrode 60cmx60cmx3.00mm thick buried in ground and brazed with copper strip completely etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :Earthwork in excavation shall be measured and paid separately.

Material & labour for chemical earthing complete with Copper earth plate electrode 90cmx60cm x 5 mm thick buried directly in ground vertically to depth not less than 2.25 mtr below ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level connected to and including copper strip of 32x6mm as earth lead up to 7.5 mtr long fixed by means of brazing including provn of GI protection pipe light grade of 40mm bore and connected to earth strip earthing test point all as shown in electrical plate No.5 of SSR Part-I 2009 and as specified or indicated and testing on completion including necessary excavation & earthwork in any type of soil, PCC (1:3:6) type C1 chamber, precast slab 50mm thick in cement concrete (1:2:4)type B1 (reinforced with welded steel wire fabric (XPM) of weight not less than 4kg/sqm) with angle iron frame of size 50x50x6mm funnel with watering GI pipe of 15mm bore medium grade, wire mesh and lugs, test point including salt, Coal & Magnesium sulphate etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Copper strip exceeding 7.5m long shall be measured & paid separately.The earh resistance value shall be less than 1 Ohm. Failing to achieve the resistance value contractor shall be redone the earthing again without any extra cost.

Material & labour for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60cmx60cm x 6.00 mm thick buried directly in ground vertically to depth not less than 2.25 mtr below ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level connected to and including GI strip of 32x6mm as earth lead up to 7.5 mtr long fixed by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers etc. of galvanised iron or steel including provn of GI protection pipe light grade of 40mm bore and connected to earth strip earthing test point all as shown in electrical plate No.5 of SSR Part-I 2009 and as specified or indicated and testing on completion including necessary excavation & earthwork in any type of soil, PCC (1:3:6) type C1 chamber, precast slab 50mm thick in cement concrete (1:2:4)type B1 (reinforced with welded steel wire fabric (XPM) of weight not less than 4kg/sqm) with angle iron frame of size 50x50x6mm, funnel with watering GI medium grade pipe of 15mm bore , wire mesh and lugs, test point etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: G I strip exceeding 7.5m long shall be measured & paid seperately.

Material & labour for earthing complete with Copper earth plate electrode 60cmx60cmx3.00mm thick buried directly in ground vertically to depth not less than 2.25mtr below ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5mtr below normal ground level connected to and including copper strip of 20x3mm as earth lead upto 7.5mtr long fixed by means of brazing including provn of GI protection pipe light grade of 32mm bore and connected to earth strip earthing test point all as shown in electrical plate No.5 of SSR Part-I 2009 and as specified or indicated and testing on completion including necessary excavation & earthwork in any type of soil, PCC (1:3:6) type C1 chamber, precast slab 50mm thick in cement concrete (1:2:4) type B1 (reinforced with welded steel wire fabric (XPM) of weight not less than 4kg/sqm) with angle iron frame of size 50x50x6mm, funnel with watering GI medium grade pipe of 15mm bore , wire mesh and lugs, test point etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: copper strip exceeding 7.5m long shall be measured & paid separately.

Supply and fix 20 mm dia UPVC tubing Sch-40 with threaded at both ends complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fix 20 mm bore stop/tap valve, UPVC for pipe and fixed complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Cutting of existing steel tubing for alterations or addition in position without taking down and screwing for addition of Tee, etc for 20 mm bore connection complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. ( Note :- The cost of excavation , earthwork and fitting of pipe line required at site shall be deemed to be included in unit rate quoted by the tenderer)

Material & labourr for preparation of earth chamber made up of PCC 1:3:6 type C1 chamber, precast slab 50mm thick in cement concrete (1:2:4) type B1 (reinforced with welded steel wire fabric (XPM) of weight not less than 4kg/sqm) with frame complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
