Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5 mtr deep, in soft/loose soil including forming sides and bottom surfaces to required level / slope / gradients etc for taking down/laying of the pipe lines complete all as specified and directed at site. Note: The disturbed surfaces of roads/paths/plinth etc shall be made good by the contractor to match with the existing surfaces without any extra cost to Government)

Returning, filling in, excavated soil in trenches, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers of thickness not exceeding 25 cm complete all as specified and directed.

Removing of excavated surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting and taking down old existing steel/PVC tubing and connections of any description/ grade and in any position in trenches/under floors / on walls etc including all fittings/accessories and fixtures such as bends, union, elbow socket, valves, taps etc, all as directed and specified for 20 mm dia pipe complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Excavation & earth work shall be measured and paid for separately under respective item of Sch 'A'.

NOTE : (i) The old retrieved steel tubing obtained in serviceable conditions from taking down shall be used after cutting & removing unserviceable portion and cutting threads at ends. Clamps shall be made to shape and size as approved, tightened with suitable nuts, bolts washers as directed. Note:- (i) Clamps shall be fabricated from the flat iron of approved size. Weight of clamps including nuts, bolts and washer shall be measured for payment purpose. (ii) Clamp shall be tightened with using suitable rubber washers/packings. (iii) Clamp shall be provided two coats of black bituminous paint over a coat of red oxide primer after preparation of surface all around.

Taking down existing 100mm bore cast iron pipe lines / water mains of any description / grade and in position including all fittings, accessories and fixtures etc existing in between pipe line, by taking out and opening any type of joints (Tyton /Gasket / Lead joints) complete all as specified and directed

(Note:- The above rate shall include all preparatory work such as staging, bushes removal for approach if any etc)

M & Labour only for cleaning of RCC UG/Semi UG Reservoir of capacity 1.0 LG by removing sludge , mud , sand etc any other foreign materials from the bottom, side wall and scraping ,brushing, internal surfaces drawn outside complete waste water from tank by manually or portable diesel /Electric Pump set arrangement cleaning of bottom, all internal side walls, by using wiper or nylon brush and wash with bleaching powder solution until the clean surface is obtained or satisfaction of Engr in charge. Including applying one coat of super quality lime to internal surface of semi underground/above ground level sump incl writing date of cleaning , capacity with super enamelled white paint over surface of black enamelled paint for following capacity of sumps and also including applying two coats of synthetic enamel black paint on steel surfaces of ladder, railing etc or on the aeration CI/GI pipe steel structure such as wash out, overflow pipe , inlet pipe, outlet pipe complete all as specified and directed for the following capacities. Note :- (i) No T&P will be provided by the Deptt.(ii) Contractor shall be fully responsible for safety of deployed person.
