SCHEDULE `A' PART-IX MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS OF WORK (Note for items 9.01 to 9.32. The contractor shall quote his rate for each of these items separately. The estimated rate is left blank since the same is not prepriced by MES)

M & L for sub main wiring with two run of 4 sqmm single core, FRLS PVC insulated but unsheathed multistranded copper cable 1100 volts conductor drawn through and including concealed heavy duty 25mm dia PVC conduit with all accessories and 4sqmm FRLS PVC insulated but unsheathed multistranded copper conductor cable as earth continuity wire in complete all as specified and directed. Note: Two runs of main cable and one run of earthcable including one run of casing caping /conduit will be measured as one unit.

M & L for sub main wiring with four run of 10 sqmm single core, FRLS PVC insulated but unsheathed multistranded copper cable 1100 volts conductor drawn through and including concealed heavy duty 25mm dia PVC conduit with all accessories and 10sqmm FRLS PVC insulated but unsheathed multistranded copper conductor cable as earth continuity wire in complete all as specified and directed. Note: Four runs of main cable and one run of earthcable including one run of casing caping /conduit will be measured as one unit.

S&F LED streetlight made up of pressure die cast housing with toughned glass and individual high power LEDs with secondary optics, IP66 protection, impact resistance of IK07 & 10 KV external SPD of 48 watt. Cat No LHETA XU7PA6W048 of make Havells or equivalent in Bajaj/Phillips etc as approved by GE.

S&F ceiling fan of size 1200mm sweep complete including electronic regulator stepped type, including flexible copper cable 3 core of size 0.5 sqmm from ceiling rose to fan, provision of 3 mm thick circular Bakelite sheet cover including writing MES NO. on ceiling fan in 2 CM height with synthetic enamel black paint all as specified and as directed. Make-Bajaj/Crompton /Legrand or equivalent as approved by GE.

S&F exhaust/ventilating fan metal body type 230 Volt single phase 300 mm sweep with louver shutter and connection including provision of cable 3 core size of 0.5 sqmm form ceiling rose of connector to fan all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Make- Havells .Model-Ventil Air -DS or equivalent as approved by GE.

M & L for chemical earthing complete with copper earth plate electrode (98% conductivity when annealed) of size 900 x 600 x 5 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 4.00 m deep below normal ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 4.00 m deep below normal ground connected to and including copper earth strip 50 mm x 6 mm by means of copper bolts nuts check nuts and washer, returning & filling the pit with excavated soil mixing with charcoal 250 KG, Crystal salt 200 KG, magnesium sulphate of 100 KG and vegetable oil all around the plate up to 350 mm above from top edge of plate and ballance portion filling with excavated soil in layers n.exc 25 mm thick, 15 mm bore galvanised iron medium grade watering pipe, 40 mm bore galvanised iron light grade pipe for earth strip protection, including all excavation earth work in any type of soil, PCC 1:3:6 type C1 for chamber of internal size 300 mm x 300 x 300 mm with 120 mm thick wall and 700 mm x 700 mm x 150 mm thick bed concrete, RCC 1:2:4,type B1, reinforced with welded steel wire fabric or XPM jali (weight not less than 4.00 Kg/Sqm) with cast iron frame, funnel with wire mesh, test point etc complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) Earth strip and GI protection pipe up to length 7.5m shall deemed to be included in rate of above item. (ii) The earth resistance value shall be less than 1 Ohm. Failing to achieve the value the earthing shall be re done by the contractor without any extra cost.

S & F voltage stabliser for automatic operation,single phase naturally air cooled indoor type and designed for input variation between 170V to 250V with output voltage stablized at 230 volts with accuracy of +2.5% and of capacity 0.5 KVA complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 60mm thick rubber moulded precast concrete interlocking paver block factory manufactured any shape and size confirming to IS 15658-2006 of M-35 Grade, without correction factor for chamfering, casted with grey cement and top layer with white cement and pigment casted in rubber mould with 0.50mm thick scratch proof lacquer coating on top laid dry in floor, pavement, etc over and including 25mm thick sand cushioning all as specified and directed.

Supply & lay in trenches / duct/passing through pipe or fixed on pole and connecting and testing XLPE insulated, PVC inner sheathed, armoured with galvanised steel strip or wire, heavy duty, LT underground cable ISI marked with aluminium multistranded conductor 1100 volt grade of size 16 sqmm 4 core complete all as specified and directed by EIC. Note: Excavation earthwork, cable covers, sand cushioning and GI protection pipe shall be measured and paid separately.

Supply, transporting to site, erecting and fixing in position, pre-stressed cement concrete poles, 9.0 meters long, 102mm x 152mm at top and 102mm x 289mm at bottom, class 10 , including painting 03 nos band / strips with blue and white synthetic enamel paint at a distance of 30 cm from plinth block and numbering of poles complete all as specified and directed. Note: Earth work, PCC for foundation and pedestal shall be measured and paid separately under relevent items.

S&F LED flood Light fitting 70 watt or higher side without any extra financial effect IP65 protection, consisting of prismatic polycarbonate cover having pressure die cast aluminium housing with auto adjustable 100volt to 300volt supply voltage using the same capacity of driver, power factor of electronic driver should not be less than 0.9 and efficiency of luminaire should not be less than 80%, heat descipation should be managed though a belt in external heat sink, the lumen with high power led and unique, peanut lense with choice optics to ensure uniform distribution higher space between poles with cool white light output. The ingress protection shall be IP-65 including connecting with 2.5Sqmm 3 core copper conductor cable from fittings and connecting to junction box and fixed with bracket & connecting complete. Make: BVP120 LED 70 CW NB FG S1 PSU GR of make Phillips or equivalent in Havells/WIPRO as approved by GE.

S&F automatic ON/OFF security light timer/nature switch in built in enclosure made out of FR grade special molding compound, rust proof, electric sock proof, vermin proof outdoor pole mountable with mounting bracket made out of GI and nut, bolts, washers incl cable glands, openable door with 8 kW three phase load with Power contactor three phase 3nos and incoming, outgoing MEC rating of 32 Amps/phase and circuit wiring of min 16 sqmm Make :- HEALER ENTERPRISES, Cat No. SWADEEP - 02EC 12kW3P or equivalent of Havells etc

Supply and Lay factory made unreinforced precast concrete cable cover LV Type I with flat size 250X 150 X 40mm

Boring of holes / cutting under the road /pavement /hard standing or in any other situation for crossing of U/G cable through GI pipe under the road and including removing PCC tiles interlocking type and refixing the same and making surface as good as before complete all as directed.

(f) Change over switch 63 Amps, 4 pole (g) Platform for panel board with PCC 1:4:8 type D2 with 40mm graded crushed stone 15Cm thick in foundation brick work in CM 1:6 with sub class "B" old size bricks rendering plaster 15mm thick in CM 1:6 on exposed surface and 100 mm thick PCC padding 1:3;6 type C1 using 20mm guarded crushed stone aggregate on top and grouting bolts etc for panel. The platform shall be such that it is of a height 45Cm above the nearest road level. Note : All incoming & outgoing feeders shall be connected by cable through suitable size gland, Plate/glands, thimbles etc.

S&F junction box of size 400mm x 300mm x 190mm made out of poly carbonate IP-65 protection with poly ethelene gasket and glow wire tested at 960 degree celcius as per IEC 60695-2-11 and thermoplastic gland of suitable size fixed on poles with galvanised clamps(02 Nos on each pole) of F1, 40x5mm made to shape fixed with nut bolts washers etc. Product No GSJB 4030 of Make Sintex or equivalent Hensel/ Bajaj etc complete all as specified and directed with following fitments :- (a) Aluminum bus bar of 100Amps capacity fixed on porcelene insulators and insulated with colour sleeves (04 Nos) and connect suitable for 25Sqmm to 35Sqmm cable (b) MCB SP 10 kA of 'C' series capacity 6Amps - 01 Nos

S & F PVC insulated stranded copper conductor 2.5sqmm 3 core along with PVC conduit of 20mm dia from LED fitting to junction box, PVC conduit fixed to poles with clamps complete all as specified and directed. Cat No WHMFDSKB32x5 of make Havells or equivalent in Finolex/C&S as approved by GE.

Taking out unserviceable old U/G cables of size 16 Sqmm to 35 Sqmm 3.5/4 core from trenches/wall/ pole complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of old unserviceable junction box of any size/any type complete all as specified and directed

M & L for preparation of newly plastered surfaces of wall and applying two coats of acrylic exterior emulsion paint in camouflage pattern over and including a coat of primer complete all as specified and directed.

S & F 1050 mm dia (dia of coil when unstretched) punched tape razor blade galvanised barbed concertina coil(50 turns per coil) weight approx 15.25 kg ( + 5%) expandable15 mtr,with medium barbs of barb length 24( + ) mm,pitch between two barbs 35 ( + )mm,width of barb back to back 13mm,thickness of the tape is 0.5mm,dia of the spring core wire is 2.6mm as fencing to steel post/struts fixed with nibs including fixing with special galvinsed fastners such as J clips,C clips, U clips, complete all as specified and as directed by engineer-in-charge.

M & L for earthing complete with copper plate electrode 600mmx600mmx3.15mm thick, thick buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 3.25 mtr deep below GL with top edge of the plate not less than 2.65 mtr below normal GL and connected to earth plate . Earth plate surrounded by 15 cm thick packed layers of charcoal dust and common salt all around the earth plate and connected to earth lead of copper strip 20mmx3mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of GI or steel and thimbles and other end of the earth wire connected to DB and protected by 50mm dia galvanized iron or steel pipe light grade and 20mm dia water pipe GI medium grade with funnel and wire mesh, including all necessary excavation and earth work PCC chamber in cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 and RCC cover and all as shown in electrical plate No.5 of MES schedule Pt I of 2009 and also including making test point for testing of earthing made out of gun metal or phosphorous bronze size 75x75x25 mm complete. Note: (a) Charcoal dust and common salt shall be filled in layers of 15 centimeters all around the earth plate. (b) Copper strip will be laid connected to test point through plinth protection necessary cost of repair to plinth protection and brazing and welding deemed to be included in the item copper strip beyond 7.5 RM will be measured and paid separately).On completion the earth resistance test to be carried out. If desired value of resistance not obtained, the earthing will be re-done at no extra cost.
