SCHEDULE "A' PART - I
Manning for operation and maintenance of pressure feed type filtration plant including pressure filter with control valves of capacity 45000 Gallon/hour - 2Nos, centrifugal pumping sets of capacity 22 HP – 3 Nos, air compressors/ blower of capacity 3000 mm of water column, gravity feed gaseous chloronome plant pertaining to Command Swimming Pool round the clock in 03 shifts of 08 hrs each including sundays and holidays, attending to the routine maintenance of plants for smooth and trouble free operation complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Manpower :- One Skilled Operator per shift. Shift timings:- I st shift - 0600 Hrs to 1400 Hrs II nd shift - 1400 Hrs to 2200 Hrs III rd shift - 2200 Hrs to 0600 Hrs
Wages for labour ( Basic + Dearness and other allowncess if any as per Latest labour Wages as notified by central / state Govt/Local body, which ever is higher)
Contribution towards Employees provident fund liability ( EPF ) (Employer's contribution as per Government latest rules)
Contribution towards Employees state insurance corporation ( ESIC ) (Employer's contribution as per Government latest rules)

Note 1 for SL item No. 1 & 2:- Before commencement of work the contractor shall submit the list of manpower to be employed as per requiste qualifications specified in particular specification for approval of GE duly recomended by Engineer-in- charge.
Note 2 for SL item No. 1 & 2:- 1. Contractor shall quote wages, employers contribution towards EPF liability, contribution towards ESIC, contribution towards bonus, LWC and overhead & profit separately as applicable as per instruction in vogue in respective sub items. 2. The rate quoted for items of outsourcing / Manning shall not be less than minimum wages as notified by Government of India/concerned state Government/Local Body, whichever is higher and also not less than applicable rates for contribution of employer towards EPF, contribution to ESIC, contribution of Bonus and LWC under respective heading / sub-items. In case any quoted rate against the above items / subitems mentioned above which correspond works out to lower than the prevailing minimum rate of wages / subscription / contribution towards EPF / ESIC/ Bonus / LWC the bid will be treated as non bonafide / invalid, shall be disqualified
...... and such bids will not be considered for acceptance. In such case, the lowest bidder shall be determined from amongst the valid / bonafide bids only and no claim on this account is entertained. The prevailing rate / wages / contribution shall be as applicable on the bid submission end date. 3. (a) The contractor shall submit the ID Proof, Bank Account No, EPF account number and ESIC account number of Operator / Person Employed. (b) The payment shall not be less than minimum labour wages and payment of labour / employee shall be made through Online Banking like NEFT/ RTGS etc,.
(c) The quoted rate in sub items of wages, EPF, ESIC and Bonus will be released only after producing authenticated Documentary proof of payment as per prevailing rates deposited in the concerned employees account duly signed by contractor and shall be submitted along with RAR / final Bill for payments. 4. Quotations with 'Nil' or "Zero" consideration (overhead and profit) will be considered non bonafide. 5. Any variation in minimum wages, liability of EPF / ESIC / Bonus / LWC / GST shall be adjusted for reimbursement/ Recovery as under:- (i) Variation in minimum wages including other related statutory provisions shall be adjusted in tems of condition 63 of GCC (IAFW-2249). (ii) Variation in percentage/ rate of GST and LWC shall be adjusted as per special conditions here in after which deals with "Reimbursement / Refund on Variation in Taxes Directly Related to Contract Value.
(iii) Rates shall be quoted only upto two digits after decimal. If any rate quoted/ derived by the contractor works out to more than two digits after decimal, then the same shall be rounded off upto two digits after decimal. The rounding off shall be done in accordance with rules for rounding off of Numerical Values in accordance with IS: 02 pf 1960 (Revised 2016) of BIS. 6. The contractor will be required to submit copy of valid labour licence from the labour Commissioner within 15 days of commencement of the work. If the contractor fails to submit the same within this stipulated period the contract shall be liable to be cancelled and the performance Security of the firm shall be forfeited accordingly.
7. (a) In case of requirement, tradesmen provided for one area may be utilised in other areas at the discretion of the department without any extra cost to department as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (b) Tools & plants shall be provided by contractor. (c) Temporary laying of LTUG cable of any size and any lenth for restoration of supply during break down / other requirement deemed to be included in the above quoted rate. (d) Complaint register and Complaint slip books as per site requirement shall be provided by the contractor and cost of the same is deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (e) All workers employed by the contractor shall be in proper uniform with name plate and other safety wearing items , shoes during the duty as per the electricity rules, which deemed to included in quoted rate.
(f) Departmental equipments of each installation,shall be under safe custody . In case of theft of any item from installation recovery shall be made from the contractor as per direction of Engr-in-charge. (g) Group insurance for the operators shall be made by the contractor. Documents shall be submitted to the department. (h) Rate quoted shall be deemed to include for leave/reserve of staff.
SCHEDULE "A' PART - II
Maintenance of Command swimming pool of size of 50 mtr x 21 mtr and of capacity 7,50,000 gallons, combined diving and swimming basin, diving basin of depth 18ft, swimming pool of basic depth varies from 4ft, 6ft, 8ft and to meet to the desired level of cleanliness by adding the chemicals such as poly electrolyte/ poly aluminum chloride (PAC) and non ferrous alum as coagulant/ settling aids, soda ash, Muriatic Acid, Sodium Bi-sulphate, Sodium Bicarbonate as PH controller, Calcium Chloride as calcium control, Cyan uric Acid or Isocyanurate as FRC stabilizer, chlorinal/ High tech hypo chloride (H -T-H)/ chlorine gas as dis-infection, Sodium Theo sulphate as neutraliser ........
......and other algaecides chemical through the respective dozing system with adequate quantity, desired occultation and cleaning of swimming pool side walls, side gutter by pool cleaner and cleaning of bottom including deep , slope surface by under water cleanerand removing sediment particle from bottom by using suction sweeper and top up the water at required intervals of time and without disturbing the swimming pool schedule of operation, quality of water to be checked frequently, complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Notes: The rate quoted is inclusive of the following :-
(i) T&P such as necessary equipments for under water cleaner, breathing arrangements shall be provided by the contractor. (ii) Chemicals not covered under this BOQ shall be provided by the contractor (iii) Following water standard parameters to be maintained on pool round the clock and parameter (a to f) to be checked and conformed on daily basis and rest of all to be conformed on monthly basis, test cost shall be deemed to be included in above quoted rate. a) FRC 1 – 2 ppm b) PH 7.2 – 7.6 c) Turbidity 0 – 10 NTU d) hardness of water e) stabilizer concentration (CYA) 20 – 60 ppm f) Biological test (B – coli) less then 2
(iv) Maintenance of chloronome plant gravity panel of any type 0.60 Kgs per hour for chlronating the water, testing of leakages, rectifying the leakages and attending to minor repairs, with and including replacement of minor spares of chloronome plant for smooth functioning without any breakdown at command swimming pool, Naval Base complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
(v) Swimming pool water quality testing, parameters for testing are CYA, biological test complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (vi) Test sample shall be taken from pool and test to be carried out with in one hour. (vii) Test to be carried out and certified by qualified analyst of NABLAB/ from public health lab / Andhra University
Supply only chlorinal/ Sodium hypo chloride (H-T-H) 13.5% (+/-1% tolerance)
Supply only of stabilizer (cynoric acid/ Iso cynorite (CYA), available chlorine 98.53%, moisture 0.32%, PH value 1% solution 4.4

Supply and replace nylon brushes for suction sweeper as per existing size and make complete all as directed

Repairs to fire hydrants landing valves of any type fixed to buildings by replcing the rubber gasket inside female couplings of hydrants, arresting leakage including testing complete all as specified and directed.
Supply and replacement of hose boxes of size 800 x 600 x 250 mm with 2 mm thick CRCA sheet, frame made out of 25 x 25 x 5 mm thick MS angle Iron with double door, glazed with 4 mm thick sheet glass and including necessary locking arrragement, preparation and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint (fire red outside and brilliant white inside) over a coat of zinc chrome primer including necessary PCC foundation work wherever necessary complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in - Charge.
M&L for pressure testing of existing 150 mm DI/MS fire main system , identifying for leakages for rectifications including replacement of gland packing of sluice valves, rubber insertion packing, nut ,bolts etc of flanged joints/ defective flanges etc complete for making the system leak proof complete all directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note: (a) The rate quoted is deemed to be inclusive of T&P such as air compressor for pressure testing etc (b) Earthwork required for rectiifcation if any shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items BOQ.
Supply and replace of following size CI sluice valves PN 1.6 (raising type) conforming to IS 14846 flanged end with iron wheel head and stainless steel spindle flanged joints including necessary nuts, bolts, and washers etc., complete all as specified and directed by Engineer -in-charge.
