- GeM — railways are increasingly using GeM for goods procurement

- Tenderkart — aggregates railway tenders from IREPS and other sources in one searchable database
Vendor Registration
- Railways maintain their own vendor approval system through RDSO (Research Designs and Standards Organisation)
- Safety items require RDSO approval before you can bid
- Non-safety items can be supplied with proper quality certifications
- Registration on IREPS is mandatory for e-bidding
- Small vendors can start with supply tenders at divisional level — lower PQ than zonal HQ tenders
