Laying of two cables above 185 sqmm in an underground trench in single tier formation (horizontal), the trench size : 680 mm x760 mm average depth, with brick protection on the top of each cable 8 (eight) Nos. bricks per Mtr. and 4 (four) Nos. bricks per Mtr. as separator between the bricks and cables and also trench to be filled up with shifted soil, levelling up and restoring surface duly rammed.

Horizontal direction drilling (HDD)/Trenchless digging/machine drilling without damage to surface road /track for laying/insertion of DWC/GI/HDPE pipe. The bore shall be done of 17 min. diameter 120 mm & at the depth of minimum 1400 mm from the ground level.The ground level shall be considered ignoring the bank height of the bank of the road/ track. Note:- DWC/HDPE/GI Pipe supply is not covered under this item. Contactor shall provide all material required for work and adequate nos. of labours for proper laying of cables into the bore. Cables shall be laid cautiously so that these should not get damage due to rough handling & pressure on cable. Payment of boring shall be made only after laying of DWC/HDPE/GI pipein the bore. Testing & meggering of all types of outdoor cables after its laying and termination on 07 both ends under supervision of Railway representative. This also includes preparation of test report for core to core and core to earth on prescribed proforma for each core of the cable seperately. This also include dressing and lacing of cable on both ends. Proforma for testing and material for lacing to be supplied by the contractor. Inspection by: Consignee.
