Cable Laying Tenders

Laying of S&T Cables of various cores/ pairs/ quads in trenches/ GI pipes/ RCC pipes/ DWC pipes/ Trunking. This also includes laying of cables in track crossings & road crossings. Item includes provision of labels of coloured plastic adhesive tapes or any other identifiable material on 187 each cable to give the cable number at each Gantry Post/hectometer post.(Cables will be meggered before and after its laying by contractor under supervision of Railway Representative and he will submit the meggering report of each testing). Length of the cable laid includes the length of the cable coiled for termination purposes. Inspection: Consignee Inspection Charges: None. Payment Terms: 100% after Execution(unit is RM running meter)

M&L for sand cushioning to cables with a layer of sand 8cm deep before laying the cable and 15cm depth after laying & stretching of cable) complete all as specified. Note: Punned thickness overall 18cm shall be measured & paid.

Breaking of metal/tar road and refilling after laying the cables. Repair of pucca roads to original state in level crossing area after cable laying.

Material and labour for Spreading ribbed soil in trenches as in cable cushioning all as per IS 1255-1983, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) Excavated approved soil shall be ribbed by using sieve to separate composite particles etc. as per IS and refilling in trenches before laying of cable 8 CM and 15 CM after laying of cable. This is then gently punned down to a depth of 10 cm above the top of upper most cable (ii) For the purpose of measurement only punned thickness shall be considered for payment.

Long 40mm dia class GI watering pipe extended up to middle of plate and clamped to the plate by GI clamps made out of 25x6mm GI strip providing funnel with weld wire mesh. Providing 1 no.earth bus made out of 25x6mm copper strip of 45cm long clamped to the water pipe at top and interconnection of earth bus with CI plate by using 2 nos. suitable copper /GI strip of suitable length, filling charcoal and salt at alternate intervals of 15cm all around plate. Providing masonry earth pit chambers of suitable size and CI chamber cover complete as required as per IS - 1 Lot. Statutory, Approval. Approval from Electrical inspectorate including preparation of drawing obtaining approval for the drawings, arranging inspection of the installation and obtaining safety certificate etc. after completion of the works. Necessary statutory fee if any payable to the electrical inspectorate/KSEB will be paid by KWA (Note: Scheme approval from the Electrical Inspectorate has to be obtained by the firm/ contractor before supplying the equipment) Trial running and commissioning as per KWA rules. Conducting satisfactory trial running of the installation as per the direction of the Engineer in charge after attaining statutory approval and completing the entire work to the satisfaction of departmental officer concerned. Warranty Two years, for all pump sets proposed now and future
