Supply/Laying / fixing, jointing, testing and commissioning, LT under ground cable 1100 volts grade XLPE insulated & PVC sheathed cable heavy duty armoured, with multistranded aluminium conductor laid in trenches/ ducts/ pipes/fixed on walls/poles complete all as specified and directed of following sizes:-. Note:- 1. Excavation & earth work, GI pipe for laying of cable, sand cushioning & cable protection cover shall be measured and paid for seprately under respective items of the schedule. 2. Cable length exceeding one drum length (i.e. exceeding 500 metre length ) shall be FACTORY PREMISES tested before dispatch in the presence of Rep of Accepting Officer. 3. Cable shall be tested in the presence of Engr-in Charge after laying in the trench before returning filling in the trench. (iii) Name of formation shall be printed on the cable after each size of exceeding (500 RM) length.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 Mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5 Mtr in depth and getting out including foming of bottom surface for laying of cable / pipe etc in soft/loose soil. complete all as specified and directed

at required depth to be laid 90 cms. under ground for laying of cable below ground / road Seventeen Only

Excavating in trenches, n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, or pole or laying of cable etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. n exc 10 sq m on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out in hard/dense soil include for dressing/trimming sides and levelling/grading and ramming of bottoms of excavation. all as specified and as directed by Engineer -in-Charge

Supply and lay dry river sand filling for under ground cable protection with a layer of 8cm deep before laying and 15cm covering above the top edge of cable after laying complete all as specified and as directed.
