M&L for APP Modified prefabricated five layer water proofing membrane, not less than 3 mm thick and weighing not less than 3.00 kg/Sqm reinforced with non woven polyester matt black finished over compatible bituminious primer confirming to IS-3384@ 0.30 lit/sqm and a bonding bitumen of VG-10 at 1.20 kg/Sqm torching the membrane on whole surface uniformly while unrolling the membrane by LPG and sealed with trowel after necessary preparation of surface complete all as per Manufactures instructions and finally finished with a coat of bit mastic aluminium paint @ 0.10 litre/Sqm over a coat of blown bitumen 85/25 grade @ 1.20Kg/Sqm over the membrane. The Over lap joint shall be provided of 75mm in longitudinal direction and 100mm in transverse direction respectively. All the angles, abutments and the drainage outlets shall be sealed with extra care to ensure full bondage including preparatory work and removing existing membrane treatment completely.. (Glass or wiremesh shall be paid separately) Note: (a) For uPVC frame and sash extruded profiles minus 5% tolerance in dimension i.e. in depth & width of profile shall be acceptable. Variation in profile dimension in higher side shall be accepted but no extra payment on this account shall be made. (b) Net opening will be measured for payment purpose.
