Material & labour for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600 x 600x 6mm burried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below ground level) with top edged of the plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level, connected to galavanised iron earth lead by means of bolt, nut, check nut and washer of galavanised iron steel wire 4mm dia as earthing lead as shown in Electrical Plate No 4 of SSR Part I connected to earthing test point all as specified or indicated including testing on completion including necessary excavation and earth work in soft/ loose soil, earth pit in PCC 1:3:6 type C1 using 20mm stone aggreate, funnel, 20mm dia GI med grade water pipe, 15mm dia GI light grade earth lead protection pipe, CI frame and cover, wire, copper lugs, wire mesh, charcoal or coke and common salt in alterative layer all around the earth electrode compacted thickness 15 cm including excavation and earth work pit cover including disposal of surplus soil to a distance not excessding 50m, complete testing on completion all complete as shown in electrical plate no-4 of SSR part No1 all as directed.

Material & labour, in repairs, earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode of 60 cm x 60 cm x 6mm thick buried directly in ground [earth pit not less than 2.25 metre deep below normal ground level] with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 m below normal ground level, connected to galvanized earth wire of 4mm dia by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of MES SSR Part I all as specified and testing on completion including provision of earth lead protected by 15 mm dia light grade GI pipe & watering pipe shall be 20 mm bore medium grade GI pipe including all excavation and earth work in any type of soil, PCC pit with RCC cover, char coal, salt, funnel etc complete. Note : Rate quoted by tenderers shall be deemed to include for following provisions;-[i]. Excavation & earth work in any type of soil including removing of surplus material upto 50 M.[ii]. PCC 1:3:6 type C1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate in pit & 40mm thick precast RCC 1:2:4 type B1 cover 50x50 cm with 8mm TMT bars @ 10 cm C/C both ways with handles.[iii]. Main earthing lead from earth electrode to test point upto 7.5 mtr.[iv]. Funnel with watering pipe [GI pipe] 20mm bore [ISI marked] medium grade & copper lugs, charcoal & salt as reqd.[v]. GI protection pipe of size 15 mm bore light grade 7.5m.
