M&L Earthing with galvanized mild steel earth plate electrode 60 centimetre x 60 centimetre x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 metres below ground level, the top edge of the earth plate at a depth of not less than 1.5 metres below ground level connected to galvanized iron earth wire of 4 mm dia by means of bolts, nuts and washers made out of GI / steel earth wire protected by GI light grade pipe 15 mm bore, 20mm dia light grade galvanised iron pipe with funnel wire mesh for watering and connecting to main switch board / control board all s shown in electrical plate of SSR Pt - I connected to earthing test point and including testing on completion complete all as specified and as directed. Note: The unit rate shall also include for excavation, earth work in hard/dense soil, plain cement concrete 1:3:6 type C1 by using 20 mm graded aggregate in pit, 50 mm thick reinforced cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 using 20 mm graded aggregate cover duly reinforced with 8 mm dia TMT bars @ 100mm centre to centre both ways, CI cover with CI frame hinges, galvanised iron funnel with watering pipe, wire mesh, complete.

Materials &Labour for concealed submain wiring with two single core PVC insulated, unsheathed, stranded copper conductor, FRLSH, of size 1.5 Sqmm and one single core PVC insulated, unsheathed stranded copper conductor FRLSH, of size 1.5 Sqmm green in colour as earth continuity conductor connected to existing main switch board / distribution board of each building / qtr as ordered, drawn into and including 20 mm dia PVC conduit (medium grade) with all fitting & accessories and testing on completion including taking down old unserviceable sub-main wiring complete all as specified and directed by Eng-in-Charge. (Note: Two runs of 1.5 Sqmm cable and one run of 1.5 Sqmm earthing cable along with conduit altogether shall be measured as one unit.)

M&L for earthing of poles/system with galvanised earth plate 60x60 cm x 6.30 mm thick electrode of size and 32 x 6mm GI strip buried vertically in ground not less than 2.25 mtr below ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 mtr below ground level and connected to copper strip dia by means of nuts, bolts and washers and encased in and including 40mm dia GI medium grade pipe upt 2.4 mtr height form ground level fixed by MS flat iron clamp 40mm x 5mm with nut, bolt and washers, GI strip fixed to base along pole and connected to over head line for providing earthing to HT pole/feeder AB switch LA complete with charcoal dust, salt packed around plate 150 mm thick including watering GI pipe, medium grade 20 mm dia with blanking cap 1.5 mtr long fixed to funnel with wiremesh complete with PCC chamber and RCC chamber over all as per Electrical Plate No 5 of SSR Part I - 2009 incl excavation and earth work in any type of starta and testing on compeltion etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge (Note: Any length of GI strip and 40 mm dia GI medium grade pipe shall be provided as per actual requirement at site).
