Construction of Yard Drain in connection with Improvement of MINJ, SPC,HMP,NM,MKHI,SFPR,BGMU,MLW,MAH,BEJ,MSTH,RAK,BLM, BRTA, JBG, JKH station yard under jurisdiction of ADEN-II/HRI.
Design, Manufacture, Supply & Installation of factory-made (wet cast) Precast U Shape storm water drain (SWD) heavy/medium duty type of size 450 X 450mm (Internal dimensions) with 4nos. weep holes in each precast segment of 2.0m length. Precast U Shaped segments shall consist of high strength reinforced cement concrete duly steam cured in a controlled environment and manufactured by using high performance self-compacting concrete of M-50 grade using cement of Gr. 53 as per IS: 12269 and TMT steel reinforcement bar of Grade Fe-500D as per IS: 1786 (minimum reinforcement content shall be 8.0 Kg per running metre length). The precast drain shall 1 be designed considering maximum of all possible loads (All types of Load coming while placed between the tracks considering traffic block/traffic movement on track, considering saturated/Unsaturated soil condition, all type of static & Dynamic load considering minimum track centre of 4.265m) . Length of each precast drain segment shall not be less than 2.0m. Concrete shall be cast in leakproof steel moulds maintaining precise product dimensions. Design shall confirm to IS/BIS / Indian Railway Concrete bridge code / JIS standards/Guidelines/Codes. Precast drain shall take into account expected handling and erection stresses etc. The product shall have tie/groove shape joint 10-20 mm width X 25 mm depth groove on both sides for jointing two precast drain segments. The precast segment shall consist of special in-built inserts at appropriate location for safer and faster installation. Joint shall be filled up with factory made non-shrink grout material of approved make. Precast Factory shall have in-house NABL approved testing facility for quality checks and shall have ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification for design, manufacture and dispatch of products and shall be ZED certified. The precast manufacturer should have proven track record in production & supply of precast products. The rate is applicable for supply of precast product at various stations of MB Division and is inclusive of all loading, leading, unloading, handling, rehandling, all applicable taxes, installation and jointing, curing etc. complete item. The rate is exclusive of Earthwork in excavation, dewatering, PCC (1:3:6), benching concrete (M-30) inside drain to provide required longitudinal slope & leading surplus earth outside Railway boundary, which shall be paid under relevant DSR Items."(under traffic block)"

Wiring of circuits to be done as per the approved diagram based on relay interlocking system using metal to metal/metal to carbon type relays and soldering after testing. IRS-S 76/89 with latest amendment. 16 sq mm wire for All 110V DC, 110V AC & 60V DC internal supply and 10 sq mm wire for balance supply is to be used) Materials required like jumper wire of 0.6 mm, 1.0 mm, 16/0.02 multistrand flexible etc, resin core, solder wire, lacing thread, adhesive tapes resistance, condensers, diodes, lugs etc of various ratings and capacity as per site requirement to arranged by the contractor free of cost and used after approval of Rly engineer at site. The jumper wire of 0.6mm, 1mm , flexible wire of 16/0.02, power wire of 16 & 10 sqmm equired for carrying out the indoor work shall be supplied by contractor as per RDSO specification no. IRS-S 76/89 with latest amendment after RDSO inspection. The quantity of jumper wire should be assessed jointly with the engineer in charge in beginning itself.). The work shall be done as per approved plan extant practice on W. C. Rly & the instruction of Rly engineer at site. Required quantity of 60/40/24 core PVC indoor cables will be supplied by Railway. cum AMBALA DIVISION-ENGG/NORTHERN RLY 25mm gap 'in-situ' welding during traffic block using Railway's welding portion and finishing of weld to meet the prescribed tolerances and pass all stipulated tests with all required labour, materials, consumables, tools, equipments etc. to complete the work in all respect as per IR's "Manual for Fusion Welding of Rails by Alumino - Thermic Process" with latest correction slips, including marking of welded joint, painting weld collar with anticorrosive paint, restoration of track near weld joint to original position and fixing of joggled fish plate at new weld, to be removed after passing of weld in USFD test as directed by Engineer in charge. Note: 1. Welding portion and related accessories as per Annexure - I shall be supplied by Railways. All other items required shall be supplied by the Contractor. 2. Welding shall be carried out only by trained welder having valid competency certificate. 3. Hydraulic Weld trimmer shall be used for chipping and profile Grinder for finishing. 4. Required nos. of Joggled fish plates shall be supplied by Railway at nearest P. Way Stores and the same shall be returned at nearest P. Way Store or at other location as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge after release from track.
