Supply and laying of HDPE pipe, 110 mm diameter by pushing method under track/road - The price shall cover for supply of HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) pipe of 110 mm nominal diameter as per IS 4984-1995 of make Tijaria/Himalyan/Koncept/Poddar/Unique with accessories required 11 for laying such as coupler, bend etc. as per description given in Annexure-XXI of tender document. The price shall also cover for laying the HDPE pipes in the ground below the tracks/road by push through method at a depth below the formation level as indicated in the drawing supplied by railway. The term "formation" level means the earth surface just below the bedding of the ballast. In case of any hard/stony soil, contractor should adopt new technology method in push through method. Each length of the pipes shall be joined together properly using proper size of socket and aligned in a straight line, keeping an inclination to facilitate the draining of water.

Modification/Alteration in existing EI (Electronic Per Interlocking) as per latest RDSO guidelines & Alteration TAN. It includes: Design and modification in existing Interface, Interlocking circuits and logic of EI system including modification in the VDU (Video Display Unit)/ LCP (Local Control panel), CCIP (Control cum Indication Panel) if any, Maintenance terminal (MTPC), Data Logger, Relay rack wiring etc. The complete work should comply with the latest RDSO specifications, guidelines and as per approved SIP & circuit diagrams. All the material (Interface cards/ relays/ wiring material/ connectors/ fuses /communication devices etc.) shall be provided by the contractor. The work includes the supply of modified Selection table, Interface Circuits, VDU/LCP, CCIP diagram if any etc. to suit the modified SIP. It also includes the carrying out of FAT, SAT or two rounds FAT (as applicable) jointly with Railways and satisfactory commissioning. All plans/drawings/circuits etc. should be prepared on Auto CAD. Soft copy including Auto CAD copy has to be supplied in pen drive and 06 sets of hard copies also to be supplied as a completion drawing. Excavation of cable trench as per cable cum route plan, 1.2 Mtr. deep and of 0.3 Mtr. to 0.6 Mtr wide advised by Engineer-in-charge alongside the track in normal (all type) soil/strata, conforming to distances as per cable route plan and refilling. This work includes clearing of route from bushes etc., covering of cable laid in trench by loose soil for a layer of 50mm thickness approximately before covering by bricks. The work shall be done as per the extant practice on Western Railway and instructions of Railway Engineer at site. In case 1m depth of trench is not achievable due to site conditions, specific approval of JA grade officer will be required for each site where trench depth of 1m is not possible. Without the approval of JA Grade officer, no payment for trenching will be made for trench depth less than 1m
