Laying of the cable partly through trench at a depth of one meter and filling with 4 sand, 16 Nos bricks per meter run or under the road by laying through G.I. pipe at a depth of one meter or at platform/road/wall where excavation of one meter is not possible only cutting of the surface to the size of cable with at lest two inch covering by concrete is required and refilling with earth and partly of the rail/lamp post/PF color/wall with supply of clamp made of MS flat 35x6 mm with nut-bolts adequate number with maximum space of one meter/wherever feasible etc including connection as per site condition of different sizes of cables. For laying each cable separate trench is required. In case due to space constraints more than one cable is required to lay in one trench, payment will be released in form of length of trench and not in length of underground cable. (Cable will be supplied by Railway from separate item).

Excavation of cable trench as per cable route plan, 1.0 mt. deep and 300mm wide along side thew track in normal soil/strata, conforming to distances as per cable route plan and refilling after cable laying. This work includes covering of cable laid to trench by loose soil for a layer 01 of 50mm thickness afer clearing of route, bushes etc. It shall be ensured that top of the cables laid is at a depth of 0.8 m or more. If it is less, then the width and depth shall be suitably increased and accordingly proportionate payment shall be made. In case depth of trench is not achievable due to site conditions, proportionate payment will be made as per procedure. The work shall be done as per extant practice on C.Rly & the instruction of Railway engineer at site. Drg No SK 805
