O&M BSR 2020/ 7.1 -Maintenance of pipelines irrespective of size & material which includes Repairing of Bursts & leakages pollution control, survey & removal of choking, disconnection of illegal connections, Collection & recording minimum 10 nos. residual chlorine samples during daily supply timings, interconnections and all works related to pipeline network in existing distribution /rising main pipe lines of all sizes by digging out suitable size of pit in soft and loose soil/ hard soil including cutting of Black top, WBM & CC top of road of any size at work site. This will also include cutting of pipe ends, fixing of pipe piece with jointing material to make repair leak proof and then refilling of excavated tench / pit / road shall be done properly i.e after a layer of 20 cm with proper watering and ramming in layers. For entire job contractor will use their own T & P. Contractor with his own resources shall arrange de-watering,JCB & Tractor compressor if any and restore any amenity at his own cost damaged while performing the work in this item. The work includes daily patrolling and repair the leakages within stipulated time and complete maintenance of pipe line network of rising and distribution pipeline network within the scope of work for per km pipe line per month. Jointing material shall be provided by the department.

Note :-(a) The following Terms and Reference are also included in the Energy audit - (i) To carry out the audit of power supply and earthing infrastructure (EP&LA) . (ii) To optimize use of electrical infrstructure by studying the HT/LT distribution network and suggest improvements. (iii) To ensure safety and security of electrical and earthing infrastructure in order to avoid fire hazards and electrical accidents. (iv) To achieve enegy efficiency by setting targets for redudction of energy consumption and carry out of energy saving devices. (v) To verift serviceability state of electrical infrastructure. (vi) To monitor CMD(Contract Maximum Demand ) and RMD (Recorded maximum Demand). (vii)To carry out rationalization of transformer in the Stn. (viii)To balance load of DG sets in the Stn. (ix) To check the power factor and suggest improvements. (x) To suggest measure to improve so as to minimize the maintenance and tarrif of the Stn. (xi) To list out defect/ deficiency. (xii)To submit the Findings and Recommendations. NOTE:- (b) The follwong data will be catered in test report - (i) Summary of energy conservation measures. (ii) Description of energy saving projects. (iii) Cost benefit analysis, vendor, or OEM details. (iv) Small briefing session of the report to the management to explain the report and way forward discussion pertaining to recommendation implementation and any constraint resolution from plant management. (v) Entire exercise will be done by Buerau of Energy Efficiency Accreditted Energy Auditor having industry experience of 20+ years.
