REPAIR/ REPLACEMENT OF ROOF, PLASTER, JOINERY, SUNKEN TREATMENT, PLUMBING AND ALLIED WORKS AT RAINA PARK, GURBACHAN SINGH ENCLAVE, DOGRA FARM, CEMETARY LINE AND ROORKEE ROAD ACCN AND OTHER ADJACENT AREA UNDER AGE B/R-II OF GE (NORTH) MEERUT CANTT
M&L for Water proofing treatment to sunken floors of kitchen, toilets, bath and WC's etc shall be as under :- (i) Application of two component acrylic modified cementitious coating. (ii) The surfaces to be applied shall be completely dry and free from containments such as dirt, dust, oil, surface treaments and old coatings. Concrete subtrates must be mechanically prepared using abrasive blast cleaning or milling to remove cement laitance, existing coatings and achieve a gripping profile that is clean , dry and free from laitance and any other form of surface contamination. (iii) Chipping out any visible cracks in "V-Groove" pattern as applicable. Special attention on this part. Cleaning of cracks & then filling those cracks with SIKA latex SBR 100 Putty/Dr. Fixit 302 SBR latex/Perma latex SBR/ FOSROC Nitobond SBR Latex/Asian Paint latex as required. Final cleaning of surface with power grinder, wire brush, hair brush & vaccum pressure if required. (iv) Dampen all surfaces immediatley ahead of application of Acrylic modified cementitious coating of Sika Top Seal-107/Brush Bond Fosroc/Dr. Fixit/STP/CICO. (v) Whilst the surface is still damp from saturation(S.S.D), apply one coat of Acrylic modified cementitious coating of SIKA Top Seal -107/Brush Bond Fosroc/Dr. Fixit/STP/CICO of viscosity as per manufacturer's instructions. (vi) Apply Glass Fabric sheet of Sika Fab 1/FOSROC/Dr Fixit/STP whilst the first coat is wet. (vii) Once touch dry, applied second coat of Acrylic modified cementitious coating of Sika Top Seal-107/Brush bond Fosroc/Dr. Fixit/STP/CICO of viscosity as per manufacturer's instructions on the entire area. (viii) Second coat shall be applied after 6-8 hrs of application of previous coat and in the direction right angle to the previous coat.

Providing and applying integral crystalline slurry of hydrophilic in nature for waterproofing treatment to the RCC structures like retaining walls of the basement, water tanks, roof slabs, podiums, reservoir, sewage & water treatment plant, tunnels / subway and bridge deck etc., prepared by mixing in the ratio of 5 : 2 (5 parts integral crystalline slurry : 2 parts water) for vertical surfaces and 3 : 1 (3 parts integral crystalline slurry : 1 part water) for horizontal surfaces and applying the same from negative (internal) side with the help of synthetic fiber brush. The material shall meet the requirements as specified in ACI- 212-3R-2010 i.e by reducing permeability of concrete by more than 90% compared with control concrete as per DIN 1048 and resistant to 16 bar hydrostatic pressure on negative side. The crystalline slurry shall be capable of self- healing of cracks up to a width of 0.50mm. The work shall be carried out all complete as per specification and the direction of the engineer-in- charge. The product performance shall carry guarantee for 10 years against any leakage.

M & L water proofing treatment to RCC roof slab including parapet comprising of the following course of treatement / specified from bottom to top (a) Applying Bituminous primer @ 0.40 Ltr per Sqm over plastered surfaces of roof including parpet surfaces. Bituminious primer shall be 'Tar Mastic' manufactured by M/S STP LTD or 'EMW FLATE' manufactured by M/S Texsa India Ltd. (b) Over the priming coat laying one layer APP based polymeric membrance of approved manufacturer, 3 mm thick of weight not less than 3.60 Kgs/Sqm reinforced with non woven polyester fabric weight not less than 160 gms per Sqm. Polymeric members shall be taken to a height of 60cm (minimum) and then inserted inside the groove of parapet wall and shall be finished by a membrance flashing. (c) Application of two coat of bituminous aluminium paint over the polymeric membrane after necessary preparation and cleaning. Note :- (i) Laying APP based polymeric membrance shall be done by torch on method or as per manufacturers instructions. (ii) A minimum overlap of 100mm shall be made at the end and 75mm shall be made at the sides of the polymeric membrance respectively and sealed all ovelaps and joints as per Manufacturers instructions. (iii) APP based polymeric membrance shall be "SUPER THERMOLAY" manufactured by M/S STP LTD or MOPLY FP manufactured by M/S Texsa India Ltd.
