Supplying, filling & spreading good earth (procured from outside the site): Good earth (generally well sieved, 90% to pass through I.S. sieve of 10 mm) at site including loading, unloading, royalty. The soil shall be friable loam material, fine in texture, containing at least 2% organic matter, reasonably free of subsoil, free from stones, gravels, plant roots, branches, and any other unwanted objectionable extraneous matter or debris and shall contain no toxic materials. No sweet earth shall be delivered in frozen or muddy condition. For calculation 90% of soil will be considered.

Excavation for treepits & shrub beds as per grading level: Earth work in excavation in ordinary soil up to the required depth as per site condition including removal & stacking of serviceable materials, uprooting rank vegetation, weeds and any other unwanted materials by forking repeatedly, breaking clods, rough dressing , fine dressing, along with disposable of all rubbish & unwanted materials to the disposal site as directed.
