Design, fabrication, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of outdoor type LT Control Panel of double door, rear access construction, conforming to Form-3B internal separation as per IEC 61439-1/2 ,suitable for 415 V, 3 phase, 4 wire system, having IP54/IP55 protection.The panel shall be floor mounted, free standing type, fabricated from CRCA steel sheet enclosure, powder coated with RAL 7035 structured finish. Sheet thickness shall be 2.0 mm for load bearing structural members and 1.6 mm for non-load bearing parts. The panel shall be provided with 3 mm thick GI gland plates, neoprene rubber gasket sealing for all doors and covers to ensure dust, vermin and weather proofing. Cable entry shall be from bottom side for both incoming & outgoing cables, with proper cable alley and segregation.The busbar system shall consist of TPN electrolytic grade copper busbars (3 phase + neutral) of size 70 mm x 8 mm, rated for 1600 A continuous current, running at the top of the panel throughout its length. Busbars shall be supported on suitable porcelain/epoxy insulators, with adequate phase-to-phase and phase-to-earth clearances. The busbar shall be insulated with heat shrinkable coloured PVC sleeves for phase identification. The system shall be designed to withstand short circuit strength of 100 kA for 1 second as per IS 8623 2 Part-1 and temperature rise test at 6300 A as per IS 8623 Part-1.The panel shall be complete with switchgear and control equipment comprising 01 No. 1250 A, 4 pole (ACB) of microprocessor based MDO type, conforming to IS/IEC 60947-2, having breaking capacity of 50 kA, with features such as adjustable protection settings, inbuilt thermal memory, self-diagnostic release, EMI/EMC compliance, MODBUS communication facility, and full selectivity (Icu = Ics = Icw for 1 sec) with 100% rated neutral. The panel shall also include 01 No. 1250 A, 4 pole on-load changeover switch conforming to IEC 60947-3, suitable for horizontal and vertical mounting, and 06 Nos. 250 A, 4 pole MCCBs having 36 kA breaking capacity, microprocessor-based adjustable settings, with Ics = 100% Icu conforming to IEC 60947-2.The control wiring shall be of 1.1 kV grade copper flexible conductor, properly ferruled, and terminated with suitable lugs. The panel shall be provided with multifunction digital meter, CTs of suitable ratio, LED indication lamps, auxiliary contactors, selector switches, control switches, and other standard accessories. The busbar connections shall be supported on both ends with adequate clearance maintained for safe operation and maintenance. The complete assembly shall ensure proper segregation between power and control circuits.The panel design, General Arrangement drawings, SLD, and wiring diagrams shall be submitted by the contractor and approved by the competent Railway authority prior to manufacturing. The panel shall be fabricated and assembled in OEM factory and shall be inspected in presence of Railway authorized representative prior to dispatch. The manufacturer shall be CPRI tested, ISI marked and ISO certified, and the panel shall conform to all relevant Indian Standards and IEC codes.The scope includes all labour, material, tools & tackles, transportation, erection, testing, commissioning, interconnection, earthing with GI strips, and all incidental works required for complete execution of the system in all respects as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge at site.
