EXTRA FOR LAYING / INSTALLATION OF PE PIPELINE ALONG WITH CARBON STEEL PIPELINE WITHIN SAME TRENCH (OPEN CUT) Extra for laying MDPE Pipe including trenching to all depths/width by excavation in all types of soils including soft and different type of pavement / foo tpath / roads etc. including rock breaking, chiselling or otherwise cutting etc. as required and storing excavated soil, reusable ma terials at designated area as directed by Engineer in charge and to a width/depth to accommodate the pipeline, Carbon Steel & MDPE P ipe (125 mm/ 90 mm, PE-100 Pipe SDR11) as per the relevant drawing/standard/ specification etc. Work involved in laying of MDPE pipe line shall be as follows : " Receiving and taking over " as defined in the specification , handling , loading , transportation and u nloading of Owner supplied MDPE pipe of 125 & 90 mm dia from designated place (s) of issue / dump site (s) to contractor's own stock -yard (s) / work shop (s) / work site (s) including proper storing , stacking , identification , providing security & insurance cov er , stringing / uncoiling on the pipeline right of use , laying / installation of MDPE line pipe and contractor supplied associated fittings and accesories i.e. bends , couplers , End caps , Tee , PE reducer , CS to PE fittings , Valves saddle tappings , warning mat etc., including executing of all works , arrangement of all additional land required for contractor's storage , fabrication , ac cess for construction , supply of all materials ( except Owner supplied materials ), consumables , labour and other incidental works and handing over the same surplus materials to the Owner's designated stockyard (s)Uncoiling /stringing of pipes , clamping , joint ing of pipe ends /fittings /valves by qualified personnel using approved techniques as per specifications.Lowering the MDPE pipeline in same trench wherein carbon steel pipe has been laid ( as per scope given in relevent SOR) and padding done to the thickness as i ndicated in the specification and enclosed cross sectional drawing , providing required depth/width of padding in trench bed & above and around the pipeline.Installation and electrofusion jointing of valves wherever required and as directed by engineer in charge. Cleaning , flushing , pneumatic testing , purging with nitrogen as per specification and approved procedures providing all tools and tackles , nitrogen , instruments , manpower and related accessories and as per the instructions of the EIC. Any other activities no t mentioned/ covered explicitly above, but otherwise required for satisfactory completion/ operation/ safety/ statutory/ maintenance of the works shall also be covered under the scope of work and has to be completed by the Contractor within specified time schedule at no extra cost to owner. On completion of gas charging of pipelines. Preparation and submission of as built drawings , crossing d etails , termination , utility graphs. Carrying out all temporary, ancillary, auxiliary works required to make the MDPE pipeline rea dy for commissioning as per drawings, specifications, scope of work indicated in tender and other provisions of Contract document an d instructions of Engineer-in-charge.

M.S. structural works in roof trusses with tubular sections conforming to IS: 806-1957 & IS: 1161- 1958 cnnected to one another with bracket, gusset cleats as per design, direction of Engineer-in-charge complete including cutting to requisite size, fabrication with necessary metal arc welding conforming to IS: 816- 1956 & IS: 9595 using electrodes of approved make and brand conforming to IS:814- 1957, haulage, hoisting and erection all complete. The rate includes the cost of rolled steel section, consumables such as electrodes, gas and hire charge of all tools and plants and labour reqired for the work including all incidental chages such as electricity charges, labour insurance charges etc. Payment to be made on the basis of calculated weight of structural tubular memebrs as specified in relevent IS code in finished work. Payment for gusset, bracket, cleat may be made by adding the actual weight of such items with weight of finished structural members. The rates are considered for a height of erection 8 m. / 2nd floor level from the ground. Add 1.5 % extra over the rate for each additional floor or 4m. beyond the initial 8 m. or part thereof.

M.S. structural works in columns, beams etc. with simple rolled structural members (e.g. joists, angle, channel sections conforming to IS: 226, IS: 808 & SP (6)- 1964 connected to one another with bracket, gussets, cleats as per design, direction of Engineer incharge complete including cutting to requisite shape and length, fabrication with necessary bolting, metal arc welding conforming to IS: 816- 1969 & IS: 1995 using electrodes of approved make and brand conforming to IS:814- 2004, haulage, hoisting and erection all complete. The rate includes the cost of rolled steel section, consumables such as electrodes, gas and hire charge of all tools and plants and labour required for the work including all incidental chages such as electricity charges, labour insurance charges etc. Payment to be made on the basis of calculated weight of structural members. For built up sections / srtuctural members of specified sections weighing not less than 22.5 Kg./m
