Exterior Totem sign 2-sided. Post mounted. Drg No. 2.1 e, Providing and fixing illuminated totem in exterior areas of stations with the BMRCL symbol close to the entrance visible form approach road including all operations from fabrication to installation all complete as per relevant drawings, technical specifications, signage schedule and to the satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge. Sign Structure: Providing and fixing in position internal structure for sign made in 50x50x4 MS Box Section with base plate 310x560x16mm and 10mm thick MS gusset plates and provided with 25x25x3 - 4 Nos MS equal angle welded with MS Box Section as per the drawing and dimensions. Entire structure shall be made as one unit and finished in Powder Coat to match Colour Silver Metallic after all welding and grinding of burr, making holes/slots receiving sign panels, fitting the tube lights and electronic ballasts, including provision of unpainted areas for welding the structure on post. Sign face shall be made in 3mm thick 040 white acrylic (as specified) having graphics pasted in Plotter cut Block out vinyl pasted over a translucent white vinyl and entire panel covered with a protective over laminate The structure shall have panels covering from top and bottom made in 4mm thick Aluminum Composite Grey in colour with the bottom panel allowing for ventilation of the sign as approved by the Engineer-in-charge. Foundation and Pedestal: Providing and laying foundation for the Totem sign in PCC (concrete M25) including its compaction and all activities like Excavation, PCC base layer, casting of holding down HTS anchor J bolts of 16mm dia using a sized template in MS 8mm thick for locating and accurate spacing of bolts as per drawing. Providing and fixing in position Sadarhalli stone pedestal in hand dressed rough finish surface in required size and shape as per drawing in 2 parts. Making cavity in stone for accommodating electrical box installing the two halves joined together by filling Plain cement concrete (M25) keeping a clear groove of 25mm wide recessed and finished as per drawing. 2mm thick SS clamps bolted and set into 3mm thick groove made 150mm from top and 200mm from bottom of the pedestal to keep it intact and flushed to face. The item cost includes cutting and opening the floor finish at location, and making good the location to the match the original finish after fixing and installation of sign. Sign panels: Providing and fixing sign face panels on 2 sides of sign structure made out of frame fabricated in 50x50x3 Aluminium Square Hollow box section to required size and shape shall be anodized on all faces to match Black Color before receiving 040 white acrylic and Aluminium composite panel. All corners of sign face shall be finished and filled neat with white/clear silicon sealant. The BMRCL symbol shall be router cut using original artwork in Acrylic Sheet shall be inserted in the panel projecting the acrylic face on the outside and the sides are maintained for light dispersion. The BMRCL Logo (950mm x 950mm x 75mm) shall be of specified make duly approved by the Engineer-in-Charge. The sign panel shall be inserted to sign mounting frame using Aluminium Composite Panel to Aluminium Profile. Illumination: Providing and fixing the LED strips for proper illumination Lighting suitable for sign box (make osram, lucoled or equivalent) – lifespan of 50,000 +hrs 6500K with optimal homogeneous backlighting & light throw of minimum4”) with electronic controllers, having even spread and overlap to avoid banding and dark spots and adhering to the LUX levels of 300 Lux.
