Complete removal of existing water proofing treatment of any thickness and cement mortar screed in existing roof including scrapping out old treatment/ bitumen etc. The roof surface shall be thoroughly wire brushed, cleaned to eliminate all sharp projections, washed, dried up and cleaned of all foreign material and dust to receive new water proofing treatment including removal of rubbish off the premises to outside of MoD land and incl disconnecting of existing tanks and pipeline and re fixing the same complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge

Annual maintenance charge of 01 No. R.O. plant 500 ltr/hr. capacity running water treatment plant installed at CISF barrack, Karvana including Chemical and filter required to be used. Minimum operator- 1 No. for 4 hours when required on plant during the Year 2025-2026. Terms and Condition (by Contractor):- 1- Only Changing the membrane by the department when required. 2- Chemical required to be used. 3- Filter to be changed as and when required. 4- Maintenance of the cooling system in all respect including compressor and other accessories. 5- Maintenance the water supply and electric supply with all accessories., 6- One R.O. operator should be engaged regularly for 4 hours only when required. 7 - Visit of Engineers twice in a month for proper functioning of the R.O. Plant. (By Department - Changing the membrane by the department when required).

i) Dismantling completely existing roof treatment (excluding cement screed bed ) including loosened cement plaster and exposing the top surface of RCC slab and making good the same in CM 1:4 and removing debris outside MD land upto requisite distance. ii) M&L for preparation of surface including cleaning of all dirts and provide the following water proofing treatment in Accessible Roof/Inaccessible Roof & terrace, narrow width over the roof gutter of store houses or chajjas etc. iii) Apply oil bound bitumen primer @ 0.25 gm/Sqm manufacturer by the same agency as that of APP with density of 0.87-0-89 Kg litr at 25 c on the prepared dry roof surface provide and lay APP modified water proofing membrance reinforced with non wooven polyster matt with physical properties as under :- (aa) Membrane Weight - not less than 3.0 Kg/Sqm (ab) Non woven polyster weight - 160 gm /Sqm (ac) Joint Tensile strength Longiutinal - 650 N/Sqcm Tranverseand longitudnal - 350/Sqcm (ad) Tear strength Longiutinal - 300N /cm Tranverse - 250N/cm Direction (ae) Impermeability underwater pressure 2Kgf/Sqcm (iv) APP membrane shall be laid using butaretorch by Torch on application with minimum 10cm side overlap and 15cm end lap. The laying of membrance shall be got, done through an authroiset applicate of Manufacture of membrane. (v) Over the membrane provide a finishing with solar reflective bitumen aluminium to inaccesible roof.paint @ 0.10 Kg/Sqm as prescribed by manufacturer

Providing and laying in situ seven course water proofing treatment with APP ( Atactic poly- propylene) modified Polymeric memberane over roof consisting of first coat of bitument primer @ 0.40 litre per sqm, 2nd, 4th & 6th course of bonding material @ 1.20 Kg/sqm, which shall consist of blown type bitumen of grade 85/25 conforming to IS: 702, 3rd and 5th layers of roofing membrane APP modified Polymeric membrane 1.5 mm thick of 2.25 Kg/sqm weight constisting of five layers prefabricated with centre core as film sandwiched on both sides with polymetic mix is protected on both side with mix 20 micron HMHDPE film, 7th , the top most layer shall be finished with brick tiles of class designation 10 grouted with cement mortar 1:3 ( 1 Cement : 3 fine sand) mixed with 2% integral water proofing compound by weight of cement over a 12mm layer of cement motor 1:3 ( 1 Cement : 3 fine sand) and finished neat (Item of laying brick tiles shall be paid for separately).
