Chilled water pipes with insulation: Supply, Installation, Testing & Commissioning of Chilled Water Piping with Insulation:Providing, supplying, installing, testing and commissioning chilled water supply and return piping complete with thermal insulation and cladding, suitable for HVAC chilled water systems, in all respects. The piping shall be fabricated from MS ERW or seamless steel pipes, conforming to IS 1239 (Heavy) / IS 3589 standards, with nominal sizes as per hydraulic design. Pipe jointing shall be butt-welded or flanged, with flanges conforming to IS 6392 / ANSI B16.5 Class 150, and all fittings such as MS elbows, tees, and reducers included as required. The piping shall be supported on MS pipe supports with anti-vibration pads, and un-insulated sections shall be painted with two coats of red oxide primer followed by two coats of synthetic enamel. Flow direction arrows and color coding shall be provided on all pipes for easy identification.Thermal insulation shall comprise rigid polyurethane foam (PUF) with density of minimum 40 ±2 kg/m³, thickness of 25 / 40 / 50 mm as specified, and thermal conductivity ≤ 0.024 W/m·K at 10°C. The insulation shall have inherent closed-cell vapor barrier, and be clad with minimum 0.6 mm thick aluminium sheet, stucco embossed, with pop-riveted joints, overlaps, and weather-proof silicon sealant. High-density PUF saddles shall be provided at all supports. The completed piping system shall be hydrostatically pressure tested at 1.5 times working pressure and shall conform to relevant IS / ASTM / ASHRAE standards. The insulation material shall be supplied from approved makes such as Lloyd / Pidilite or equivalent. The system shall be supplied with all accessories, fittings, supports, and workmanship required for proper operation, and shall carry a warranty of 12 months from the date of commissioning.
