"Excavation of cable trench as per cable cum route plan,1.0 mt. deep and 300mm wide along side the track in normal soil/strata, conforming to distances as per cable route plan and refilling after cable laying. This work includes covering of cable laid in trench by loose soil for a layer of 50mm thickness after clearing of route,bushes etc. It shall be ensured that top of the cables laid is at a depth of 0.8m or more. It if is less, then the width and depth shall be suitably increased and accordingly proportionate payment shall be made. In case depth of trench is not achievable due to site conditions proportionate payment will be made as per procedure. Linking of BG track (except at LC, Bridges and SEJs) with any type of rail section and sleeper of specified density, o n ballast bed spread and compacted with suitable roller, over prepared f o r m a t i o n i n c l u d i n g leading free rails/welded panels available along the alignment on to formation, leading and spreading all fittings and fastenings, spreading of sleepers at specified spacing, squaring, placing of rails over sleepers and fixing rails to sleepers with all types of fittings and fastenings to correct gauge & alignment, lubrication of fittings and fastenings with contractor's grease as per IRPWM standards with contractors labour, tools, consumables, with all lead, lifts etc. complete and raising, levelling and initial packing of track to make it fit for 30 kmph and meet other prerequisites prescribed in Indian Railway Track Machine Manual for deployment of Tamping Machine. Note: 1.Rail cutting and Hole drilling shall be paid separately. 2.Spreading of ballast and compaction shall be paid separately under relevant item.

"Installation of Berthing and straight DC track circuits to suit RE area as per std. Practice. This will include following as per site requirement :- (a) Drilling of holes 7.2 mm dia or size as required provision of continuous G.I. wire bonding on switch portion and crossing of pointwith two bonds wires and two clipsduly fastended with fish plates and bolts at each joints including transverse bonding with rope wire. 8SWG G.I. soft bond wire, Channel bond pins and all other material required will be supplied by contractor. (b) Jumpering from rail to rail or to track lead junction box including polarity jumpers/cables as per track jumpering/ insulation diagram. This includes continuity of joint on rail web for TLJB/BOOT LEG bonding method, terminating the jumpers in the TL JB and fixing the jumper on the sleeper as per instructions of Engr. at site. (c) Fixing of insulated block joints complete with provision of skimmed fish plate. Fish plates shall be supplied by the Railways but skimming to 20 be done by contractor. Supply of insulation materials for insulated block joints is not included. (d) Fixing of TL JBs asper drg. No.(NR/S&T/CON/3.2/97A) along with concrete foundation and plastering on both ends i.e. T.F. and TR end and for polarity changers as per the track jumpering/ insulation diagram. All material for fixing including angle iron shall be suppliedby the contractor. This also includes supply and fixing of TLJBs with provision of M-6 terminals. TLJB to be written with track circuit number. (e) Prov. and wiring in the app.Cases/relay huts of T.F. batterycharger, TF resistance 15/30 Ohms, track relays, choke B type (at Feed End & Relay End) & batteries as per the standard practice using fuses and terminals. This includes supply of all material by contractor as per RDSO specifications (as applicable) except supply of TF battery charger, batteries, relays which are covered separately. (f) Commissioning of track circuits as per provisions of Paras of IRS spec. S- 36/87,Amd.2. This includes adjustment of track feed resistance, testing with train shunt resistance. This also includes preparation of track history cards. Track history card should be supplied by the contractor..Inspection: By Consignee"
