A date that changed, a wrong rate in a price bid, an address to update on a letterhead, a page in the wrong order: small changes to a PDF usually mean going back to the source document, or paying for an editor. Open the PDF here, click the line of text to change it, add what is missing and download the result. Everything happens in your browser.
Click a line of text and retype it. The line is rewritten inside the PDF in its own font, at the same place and size, so a changed date or rate looks like it was always there. A different font steps in only where the PDF’s own lacks a character.
Text boxes, images and logos, highlights, rectangles, ellipses, lines and arrows, whiteout over anything, and freehand drawing with a mouse, pen or finger.
Rotate pages that were scanned sideways, delete the ones you do not need, drag pages into order and add blank pages. Undo and redo at every step.
Yes. It is completely free, needs no sign-up and adds no watermark. Open a PDF of up to 100 MB, make your changes and download it.
No. Your PDFs are processed inside your own browser. Nothing is uploaded to Tenderkart or anyone else, so confidential bid documents stay on your device.
Yes, in PDFs that contain real text rather than scanned images. Click a line of text with the Select or Text tool and retype it: the line is rewritten inside the PDF in the font the document embedded, at the same place and size. If that font has no glyph for a character you type (a rupee sign in a font that never used one, or a bold weight the document does not carry), the line is drawn in the closest of the editor's fonts instead, and the editor says so.
A scanned page is a picture, so its text cannot be clicked and changed. You can still cover anything with Whiteout and type new text over it, add images, highlights and shapes, and rotate, delete or reorder the pages.
No. Whiteout paints a white box over the content, the way correction fluid does on paper; the original text is still in the file and can be recovered. Do not use it to remove confidential information.
Helvetica, Times and Courier in regular, bold and italic, which need nothing embedded in the PDF, and Noto Sans, which is embedded when the text uses characters the standard fonts lack, such as the rupee sign. Hindi and other Indian scripts are not supported yet.
Open the Pages panel. Each page has a rotate and a delete button, and can be dragged into a new position. Blank page adds an empty page after the current one. Rotations keep the original file intact; removing or reordering pages writes a new file.
A PDF that needs a password to open asks for it; the edited file is saved without the password. When only the content changes, the edits are appended to the original file, so a digital signature (DSC) still validates for the original revision and readers show the file as modified after signing. Removing or reordering pages rebuilds the file and the signature no longer validates.
Existing form fields keep the values they have. To put text into a form, click where the answer goes with the Text tool and type; the text is drawn on the page. Adding new fillable fields is not supported.
