1.3 Line protection panel with Main I & Main II type numerical distance protection relays with inbuilt event logger (two different makes) and earth fault / overcurrent relays complying to IEC 61850 (Edition-2) Protocol with optical fiber ports sufficient DI/DO ports for scheme with additional 6 DI and 6 DO Ports for spare. All indicating meters and multifunctions meters shall be communicable type with 0.5 class accuracy and 0.2s class ABT energy meters (with Modem &DLMS complied) to be provided. (Relay shall have feature of PRP and Load blinder). ABT Energy Meter of CR Panels – The metering system shall be housed in rack with draw out type feature capability for inserting the meter module. The test terminal blocks shall be provided on all meters to facilitate testing of meters in service. Main energy meter & back up meters shall be having the feature of draw out type modular units and shall have automatic CT short circuiting so that meter can be taken out for testing without shut down requirements. The same Energy meters could be used as either ABT or NON ABT meters. It shall have the facility of interchangeability between NON ABT to ABT Energy Meter at site as per reqesuirement. The above Energy metres should have been type tested for compliance of above features with proven performance. (The meters must be meeting all complaince of SAMAST).
