Railway Budget and Its Impact on Tender Pipeline

The Railway Budget may have merged with the Union Budget in 2017, but Indian Railways' capital expenditure continues to grow independently. At ₹2.5+ lakh crore for 2025–26, railways is the single largest budget line item and the biggest generator of government tenders in the country.
