"Removal of Muck/ Malba and garbage by Donkey Labour, which includes waste 1 material, animal carcass, cow dung, leaks, building debris, muck, malba and rotten fruits and sweepings etc. The item includes the cutting of cess from between the tracks and on surrounding midway land, including leveling of ground, as desired by site engineer. This may include cutting of the bush and vegetation also without any extra payment whatsoever the case may be. Contractor shall remove all the above material out of Railway boundary in a manner not violating any rules, regulations of State / Central Govt. and its authorized bodies, wherever the bulk of the items specified above, taken together can be measured by taking direct cross section. The payment will be made by taking initial & final levels of cross sections. However, no deduction for the voids will be made on it. Where it is not possible to take the cross section, levels, the contractor shall take stacks at convenient point for measurement for which no extra payment shall be made. The rate includes employment of requisite labour, leading, collecting, picking up, making stacks wherever required and disposal in above mentioned manner. The removal of muck/ malba includes crossing of Railway track, drains etc. without endangering safety of train working complete'. Preparation of Design & drawing Sqm for station building & other buildings, Providing architectural and technical consultancy for feasibility study, master planning, urban designing,engineering & technical feasibility report (TFR) (Should be as per latest circular). Note: (i) The contractor will carryout detailed survey and prepare GAD and get it approved from Railway. (ii) The rates are inclusive of visits to site if required. The site of the work falls under the jurisdiction of Dy CE (Con/II), Kharagpur. (iii) The above quantities are approximate. The Railway reserves the right to increase/decrease the same. Additional special conditions of contract: i) The Agency will get the design proof checked from any Recognized Govt. organization ( IIT, NIT, Govt. Engineering College etc.). For this purpose Agency will ensure the presence of his representative in the offices of Railway authorities whenever required. Nothing extra will be payable for the above and the rate is inclusive of above. ii) After proof checking the Agency will have to submit three copies of initial design calculations with 3 ferro copies of drawings to SER-CONST-HQ-ENGG/SOUTH EASTERN RLY Railway for approval. Design calculation should be clearly written and bound in book form. iii) On clearance of design criteria from Railway for any modification, agency will carry out detailed design again as required and submit the same for checking by proof checking etc. without any loss of time after clearance of design parameters. He will also be prompt in clarifying the observations/doubts of the proof consultant/Railways. iv) Final copy of all drawing will be submitted on reproducible tracing film (3 copies) & soft copy of Compact Disc (CD) on completion of all design and drawings. In addition to this 3 sets of drawings in ferro copies and three sets of design. Calculation neatly typed and bound (final copy) will also be submitted. v) Design and drawing after approval shall be property of SE Railway who shall have exclusive right to use or reuse it elsewhere. The consultant shall have no claim whatsoever in this regards. vi) In case any minor modification in design is required during the progress of work due to charge of soil strata from that observed during sub-soil investigation or due to any difficulty encountered during execution, the same will be carried out by the consultant / agency without any extra cost to Railways. vii) Based on the design note approved by Rly, the Agency will prepare final general arrangement drawing. Mode of payment: i) Visit to site and collection of field data from site, and detailed design of and preparation of GAD, submission to Railway 3 sets of GAD (Ferro copy), design calculation 3 booklet = 20%. ii) After acceptance of Railway above duly proof checked = 30%. iii) Final submission of drawing approved in item (ii) above in reproducing tracing films 3 copies and soft copy on CD, 3 sets of ferro prints for each drawings, final design calculation booklet. (A) Providing & fixing of partition panel made with heavy duty aluminium section (Upto 3 mtr height) 44.5 mm & 100 mm size of minimum 12 mm thick nova pan laminated sheet or non-transparent glass and from 2 mtr. Height upto false celling level clear glass, providing one door including all required material, labour, T&P etc. So as to complete the work in all respect at Railway running room & admin building S.E. (Services)-II SSTPP. Supplying and stacking at site of work well-decayed farm-yard manure from any available source, approved by the Engineer-incharge including screening through sieve of LS designation 16 mm with 5 km lead. (HSR 26.1)
